A message from David Mullane, Chairman of Hyndland Residents association

Dear all,

As you may be aware, an arms-length company, closely associated with the G1 Group, has purchased the former commercial building at 8 Novar Drive. This company has applied for change of use to retail, which rings alarm bells of the likely operation that G1 might be planning, subject to receiving planning permission.

Ann Laird, has helpfully arranged a drop-in session in Russell House, details of which can be found on the attached PDF. She has also provided the update, which I have pasted below.

I hope that you will agree that it is worth some effort to get the best result for the residents of Novar Drive and, ultimately, Hyndland itself.

Best wishes

David

GOOD NEWS!

FOSP has recently been awarded another grant from Central Scotland Green Network.
This money will enable us to develop the 'Embankment' side of the steps at the 'Rockery'.
The plan is to make this space into an informal natural play space where youngsters can explore and investigate the natural world.
They presently have the formal play equipment.
They are soon to have grassy areas to throw Frisbees, play games, etc
This Embankment space will offer 'a look on the wild side'.

There are presently about a dozen folk who weed, clear, clean and plant.
With this new project, we will need a few more helpers.
No experience is needed. We just need as many people as possible.
We have support from the Local Authority, who, in turn, continue to support us.
If you are looking for an opportunity to be out in the fresh air, to get fit,to a feeling of well-being,
look no further.
THIS IS YOUR CHANCE.!
BE A GARDENER!
OLD STATION PARK NEEDS YOU!
NEW RESOLUTION FOR  2013?

Watch this space! Look for notices about starting dates at the Park.
