FOSP OPEN DAY 19TH JUNE 2010

I think we can say that everything was just as it should be on the third Open Day; held to raise awareness of the progress that has been made to regenerate Old Station Park.

The new marquee provided an excellent stage area which hosted a first class selection of artists who provided the music during the course of the afternoon.

The weather was as good as we could have possibly asked for and ensured all the stalls were patronised to the full. Platform 1 was well utilised for eating and drinking Pizza Magic's excellent fare while enjoying the music.

As you can see from the photographs published below everyone had a great time and it was particularly good to see the preponderance of family units enjoying the day.

Thanks must be given to all who participated in the preparation and set up of the facilities that succeeded in making the day a huge success.
